TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT STRATEGIC PLANNING

Course Objective:The participants will learn and understand how to craft and update a short-term and long-range strategic plan. Additionally a basic Strategic Plan will be developed during the training. This training will explore the individual aspects of team performance necessary to the set meaningful objectives that relate to the implementation of the organizations goals.

Strategic Planning and the establishment of vision and mission statements will be developed as well as measurable goals, objectives and strategies for long term success.

Prerequisite: Completion of Course 200 and completion of the Common Strengths Outstanding Leaders Share questionnaire.

Duration of Course: 3 days(8 hour) retreat away from the facility.

Course Description: This training provides proven hands-on methodologies for developing short and longer-range strategic plans. This training will include a study of the Leadership Theory of X and Y, Levels of Leadership, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Need, Communication, How Understanding Occurs, Demonstrating the Role of Communication in Group Productivity and how to motivate the organizations employees. A seven point Strategic Planning Action Step Matrix approach will be used to lead the organization in developing the following:

· Developing A Vision Statement and Mission Statement
· Establishing and Setting Goals
· Researching the Market and Issue Identification
· Setting Objectives (S.M.A.R.T.)
· Developing Strategies
· Identifying the Audience
· Action Items – Deployment and Implementation of the Plan.
