Memorial Health Center (LMHC) is a 23 bed Critical Access
Hospital with an attached 72 bed long term care unit,
fitness center and pool, and Intergenerational Center.
The Care Center is available for a variety of both short
and long term care needs. It was the first recognized
EDEN ALTERNATIVE Care Center in Michigan. LMHC provides
an Intergenerational Center as part of their EDEN ALTERNATIVE
care.
LMHC provides inpatient
and outpatient primary care treatment, diagnostic, prevention
and health promotion services. LMHC, organized as a separately
licensed not-for-profit community based hospital, is a
wholly owned subsidiary of Munson Healthcare.
As a Critical access hospital
and primary care heath care provider our emphasis is on
providing access to services. This includes 24-hour emergency
services as well as scheduled and drop-in services with
physicians in our Rural Health Clinic. Specialty clinics
for minor procedures, gastroentemology, urology, podiatry,
ophthalmology and neurology are also available at various
times during the month.
